I am posting from my iPad. Jennie and Brandon gave me a photo loader for Mother's Day. I was able to load photos directly and did not have to resort to e-mail.
I guess we will start with my Mother's Day surprise from Gene. He is a hedgehog. His "hair" is a bit stiff and not soft to the touch. Does that make him more lifelike?
We had a great day of visiting and of course, eating. Gene makes the best brisket. Thanks Gene, Joanna, Jennie, Larry and Brandon for a nice day. The grand-dogs were here, too, to get a bit more acclimated for a visit this coming weekend when we dog sit. It won't be quite as easy with three dogs, but we do have a fence here. Romeo, the small Maltese could probably fit through the wire but hasn't figured that out yet.

Scavenger Hunt 268 started so here are a couple of sketches. Number 1, nearby. The corner of the new screen door and end of a ladder.
Number 2, match - Gene's shoes, well if I could draw them right. I will blame a moving model. also some matches with the corner of the box.
I will post this and go check it out on my iMac. This program/APP is " Blog Do".

I had to come back in and adjust a link and photo. But with practice this can work for when we are traveling. See how it goes. I will also try the Blogsy app again.
Jo, as always, I have enjoyed browsing your recent posts and am very impressed at your tech accomplishment for this post. I am humbled and impressed by your discipline in sketching--lots of interesting subjects many of us would never think of. I also love your red, red, red piece with salsa fixins'. Very nice.

We are looking at the Big 12 baseball tournament schedule - my son wants to go.

We are not planning on the Big 12 tournament this year. Looks like Texas will go away for the Regionals, too, so we are probably having our last games with Baylor this week.
