Me and My Gal - Pastel Painting

I painted on these chickens yesterday.  They are more of the Bastrop protected chickens that live on Farm Street in Bastrop, Texas.  As I was getting ready to post them to Daily Paintworks and here on my blogs, our internet decided to be in and out of service.  We are not sure if it is the modem, weather or what since we are using satellite internet.  Oh to have cable again.  Ha.  It was out most of the day, too.  The cable/satellite guy is coming on Saturday.  You know the drill sometime between 8 a.m. and noon.  We shall see.

At any rate, I had hoped to get this up yesterday afternoon.

Me and My Gal, Pastel on Pastelbord, 5 x 7 inches

This painting starts at $35 in the auction.  You may get it for a bargain, the price would normally be $50.  It has a background to coordinate with Bastrop Resident.  They are taped to glass and ready to put in a standard frame or stand on an easel.

The internet was out again to post this this morning, so it is 11:30 p.m.  Guess you will see this tomorrow.  Sigh....

Beautiful chicken paintings...lots of wonderful colors...

hmuxo, thank you. The colors are true to the chickens. They make it easy to use the bright colors I love.
