These Mexican Hats are between Gene's sheds.
So my sketch, number 4, reading - the Sodiers' Angels book.
We went to the Longhorn baseball game last night, as usual. Miserable (I think this was Joanna's description!) ... the Horns had 5 errors and the pitchers hit 5 batters. Aggies won 12 - 4. Jonathan Walsh and Jordan Etier hit a homerun each. Maybe the only bright spots of the evening. Wow.... There has been a yearly competition with the Aggies called the Lonestar Showdown. The score so far this year is the University of Texas 9 - Texas A&M 5, after baseball. If the Longhorn softball team wins today it will be 10-5. This is the last year the Aggies will be in the Big 12 Conference. Hook 'em Horns!
There was a beautiful sunset on the way home.

Now and then it is good to let the Aggies win one.
Well, they won two and Texas won one. Interesting that they each won their last home game. Rivalry of over 100 years they said.
I sure don't like that they left the Big 12. I like to root for Texas teams and College Station was a fun trip for Baseball. We haven't seen the revamped stadium. :(
Love that you have Mexican Hats in the yard!
And, yes..."miserable" is the word I'd use to describe that horrible game. Ugh.
Hi Joanna, it is nice to have wildflowers. We have some sort of yellow daisy looking flowers now. I think Lady Bird called yellow flowers, yellow junk. : ) Lots of it around.
