A Few Sketches Hunt 261 and Photo

It is another spectacular day.  I did some sketching on March 21 and just realized I hadn't posted.  There is only one more day of the Hunt.

These were sketched in the brown paper sketchbook quickly with a Micron 05 pen.

 Number 1, tree.  One of the new trees given out to the fire victims.  We planted three and two are doing very well.

Number 2, organic - my natural sponge for art.  Number 3, nature - a few of the yellow wildflowers.


The Austin Pastel Society Juried Member Exhibit is today.  We will go.  Always nice to get together with fellow artists and friends.  Hopefully we will go to dinner after with Joanna, Jennie and Brandon.  Larry is taking photos today in Austin, maybe he would want to hang around as well.

Foggy morning here, sun is out now.

Joanna, thanks. There are some really fine paintings in the show, you are right. I hope a lot of people see it. Dinner was good. Larry had a full day taking photos of the Capitol 10K and soccer. Great to see you all.
