Valentine Doggie

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day.  The weather was great here.  I woke up to this little doggie by my computer.  So cute.

I spent most of the day preparing for my demo in Austin tomorrow.  It is at 9:00 a.m. which means I have to be out of here by 7:15 or so to try to beat the traffic.  The car is loaded and ready to go ... must mean I have forgotten something, right?

I was looking through photos to find something to paint and ran across this photo from the old house with my collection of houses and balconies.  Made me smile!  The collection started with the three right in the middle - the blue two story, church with red roof and the little house up to the left of that.  We got those in Brazil and they grew from there.  The little people, lower left, were made by Susana Castillo from Bolivia.  We never met in Bolivia, but met in Austin a few years ago.  She is back in Bolivia now.  Some very nice memories on the wall.  Bolivia, Salvador, Mexico, Canada, Honduras, Peru, Chile and more.

We took the recycle things to Smithville and drove by the old property.  They are clearing more trees, the slab and getting ready to build it looks like.  Like Jennie says, we can't even recognize it.  Nice that it will be used but such few trees now.

Bag Blog, Gene better spoil me! Turn about is fair play, ha!

The demo was fun. I was one of the youngsters. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

Joan, yes, the class was fun. How nice to get flowers. We end up painting or sketching almost all of our possessions, eh? Thanks for coming by.
