All three paintings are great, but I love the color in the cacti.
Hi Bag Blog, Lou, thank you so much. Those are in my hometown in New Mexico. I do like the fuchsia color, too.
Oh Jo your pastels are awesome. I wish I were close and could take some pointers from you.
Be blessed to be a blessing
I like the cactus best too!
But, y'all are having a reception on Superbowl Sunday? How crazy are you? :-)
I LOVE color!, hi. Thank you so much. I do have fun with pastels.
Joanna, evidently the Georgetown Library sets up and does the reception for the artists. Date was picked by a book worm I suppose! Ha. We haven't decided to go for sure. Guess someone should.
I LOVE color!, Thank you so much. It is always fun to paint together ... maybe someday.
Joanna, thank you. I think the Library set up and hosts the reception. Perhaps a book worm set the date. (Evil grin!) Guess we will try to go, someone should be there. Such a long drive.
I love all of these paintings, Jo!! I've used pastelbord before and love the results ...love the gorgeous colors you used..especially on the cacti flower!!
Jo all of these are just lovely! Good luck and I hope they sell.
hmuxo, thank you so much. I appreciate your comments. The Cholla Cactus blooms were in my hometown and are so beautiful. That was a rainy year. They had almost died out from the long drought.
Barbara, thanks. You never know when someone will see a painting they like. Hope someone does. :)
Jo - I like all of these and didn't remember seeing The Great Divide before - very nice!
Thank you, Regina. I painted The Great Divide for my New Mexico shows. It may not have been anywhere that you were. So many people from Texas go to New Mexico now in the hot summer that I decided to show it here as well.
