I sketched today for "my" Hunt with the Prismacolor Premier 5, fine line marker that acts like a pen for me. I sketched in the brown paper sketchbook, freehand.
Number 1, view out a window - I chose one in the dining room. Number 2, texture - this is a carved wooden piece of corn from Equador. My friend, Vera, gave me a wooden bowl with fruit to make me feel at home here with some South American goodies. Thanks, Vera.
There was frost yesterday morning and again today. It looked so cold out the window until the sun started to peek through.
Then the mist was rising from the small lake, too. Brrr...
We are sure enjoying the views around here. We went for a short walk today, too. It was beautiful out.

I'll be over shortly for the new hunt list. Great photos! We were up in Maine for a few very cold days. It was 20 when we left yesterday....much too cold for my blood. Have a Happy New Year!
Joan, Happy New Year! We are up to 72 today. Sorry. We did have a few chilly days, but that is why we live here. Ha. I'm getting back into a routine for sketching and painting. I hope......
Brrrrr... :-)
What a difference to yesterday, it was 80 degrees here about 5 p.m. Wow.
