Artful Day
Yesterday was an artful day. I went to the Blue Donkey Studio, 1022 Main Street, here in Bastrop to take care of the gallery for Lea Cundy. Lea is a good friend and a skillful potter. It was good to get out and visit with artists and visitors to Bastrop. There were not many people around but those that were seemed to be from out of town. That means people are supporting our community. I did make a few sales, too. Very nice!
I completed a full page of sketching in my spare time. The objects were definitely new to me. I sketched in the Utrecht sketchbook with the Prismacolor Premier 05 pen.
Number 7, glass sparkle - three of the sun catchers. Number 8, metal shine - the brass chandelier and Number 9 - a sun catcher with red glass beads and pottery stars.
Number 10, a pair - a pair of earrings on a little stand. Number 11, on a shelf - Lea's pottery on the glass shelves.
