For the Record (Sketches) and Photos Flowers and Baseball

I actually finished 26 sketches on the last Scavenger Hunt 224.  The first time I finished, although I sketched one with two different items and read one wrong, so guess it counts as finished.  I usually get about 10-15 items done if I am lucky.  I'm not going to write about each one, no time in my world for anything, only a month to my show in New Mexico.  See sidebar.....

I have a couple of photos of the wildflowers this year.  Because it is so dry, they are puny and far between.

When this poor little sage bloomed the other day, I thought it might rain.  They say that is a sign, but not to be.  Sad.

Then we were all involved in watching the NCAA Regionals last weekend.  These photos of Kent State are for Fishing Guy who comments on my blog occasionally.  He came out to Texas from Ohio and we got to meet him.  Photos are from Friday. June 3.

Kent State, Yellow Flashes and Texas State Bobcats

Kent State won!  It was the first game of the tournament.

Then Texas played Princeton.

Full house, even outside under the tents.

The Texas Longhorn lineup.
And Texas won.

You might be able to see that it was 98 degrees in the afternoon and still 87 degrees at the end of the night game after 9 p.m.  Too hot! Must be awful down on the field.  Our seats are in the shade.

Woo hoo! 26 sketches!

Joanna, thanks. I never finish and this time I looked at "poky" and thought "something that pokes". "Poky" is slow and "pokey" is jail. My mind does wander and do strange things. I did do two things for "twisted" so guess it all balances out and substitutions are allowed. Ha.

Good job -- sketching is such a good thing to be doing.

Thank you, Helen. It is good for me, but I have to work at doing it. Sort of like homework!
