I actually got a little sketching done day before yesterday on the porch and my studio. This morning I finished up in the kitchen while my coffee finished brewing. Can you believe we have had 225 Scavenger Hunts? Time flies.
Number 9, veggie - the second part, a challenge in black and white of the original #9, previous post. In painting, I should have done the sketch before the painting, but you know me. Number 10, container with an odd shape - the little chile server that Mom Frances gave me. It has red chile on one side and green on the other. Number 11, landscape - a little bit of the back yard.
Number 12, coffee or tea pot. Number 13, something with a flat bottom - spoon rest which is bright red, can you tell? Ha. Number 14, dispenser - my handsoap in the kitchen (blue and white) and Number 15, something plastic - storage container.
Yesterday I painted on the veggies, sent an ad to the paper in Magdalena with a story, put the event on line in several places, worked on my mailing list for my written invitations for the show in Magdalena, etc. Worked on images and it still seems like I accomplished nothing. Sigh.......
I hope to get a baseball post up, too. These days are passing quickly. Oh, and it is soooo hot and dry. It is 98 outside at 1:30 p.m. and very little breeze. Hope we get some for the game. Yikes!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Read this on Monday and was very confused about your reference to the game since the games are all done! Then, noticed you'd posted before the Sunday game. Sigh...
Joanna, so sad. I think all the games are sort of running together. I was putting names on the baseball photos last night and had to keep checking to see what game it was. The College World Series will be great with the UTexas Longhorns there! It is good the Aggies won, too. Good representation from the Big 12 and the state of Texas!!! Hook 'em!
I really like your sketches, Jo! Great work.
thecozyred, Hi there and thank you. It took me a minute to connect your blog name to you, Jenna. I hope folks visit your blog from here to see your great drawings.
