Taos House Watercolor by Lou Baggett
I just had to steal this photo of Lou's (Bag Blog) painting off of her blog to show you again. It is her copyright so take care of it! We traded paintings about a year ago and I see this painting every time I go in the kitchen. It is on the wall with all my little houses. This one is framed in a mahogany colored gallery frame, 20 x 16 inches, and is so beautiful. This photo does not do justice to the painting, well, I should say that the painting is more alive than the photo. It is a good photo. I am not sure why I like houses and barns, but this one is so special. Thank you, Lou. I enjoy this every day!

That was awful sweet of you to post my painting and say kind words about it. It was a stand up painting - meaning I actually stood up and painted with a big brush. It all came together in a fun way - the way some paintings do. I'm glad you have the painting - I hope it makes you smile. Your Black Lake painting makes me happy too.
