Scavenger Sketching 208
I managed a couple of sketches for Scavenger Hunt 208. I haven't posted them there yet, hopefully I will get that done tonight. I sketched in the regular sketchbook with Prismacolor Fine Line Marker, size 05.
Number 1, cloth - a kitchen towel. I was fixing dinner and all the folds were confusing. That probably needed a pencil sketch first, but as you know, I don't do that.
Number 2, yellow - a bag of crackers from Southwest Airlines. I planned to color it, but no time. I promise it is a very bright yellow bag.
I have a meeting at 11 a.m. near my Gallery about the First Fridays in Bastrop (see sidebar). I also "won" a prize at Benny Boyd, the Dodge dealer here. I must stop to check that. I could win a new Dodge Charger, an iPad or other prizes. I'm a winner for sure, which may be a $5 Walmart card. But that is better than nothing. Wish me luck!

However, I'm mostly posting to say: $5 Walmart card, here she comes! :-)
Joanna, we were right! Then they made another offer, to not take the $5 and be entered in another drawing for the $500 Walmart card and a car for a Monday drawing. I figured the chances are better as it is among just the folks that came in for a prize. So the gambler in me won, and now I don't have the $5 card either. Ha.
