I had a little time to paint yesterday and today. I painted some bluebonnets. I realized I hadn't painted any in ages. Visitors to Texas expect to see bluebonnets, the State Flower, so it is nice to have a painting of some at the gallery.

Mike's Blues, Pastel on Pastelbord, 8 x 10 inches |
It was a very quiet day. I started another painting of some cactus pear blooms. Not finished yet.
I ordered a couple of aprons from my
cafepress store for the gallery. They came out very nice, especially the navy blue with the apples on it. The material is not quite as heavy as denim, but they make nice artist or barbeque aprons. You might like to order one or two. They came in just a few days. I ordered an apron a couple of years ago and it was very light weight. They are much better now.

Apple Apron, $23 plush shipping. (If you are in Bastrop, it is $23 at the gallery.) |

This is the table and wall now for the featured artists. |
Judy also made some small earrings for $5 and $10 for Christmas. They are cute. Stop in and see.

Thank you, Joanna. I have a nice and different frame, I will post it with that and see what you think.
