Yesterday was a big day in Bastrop with the Christmas Parade and all. Judy opened the gallery about 10:00 a.m. and I went down about 3:00 p.m. We served cookies, snacks and hot cider, coffee and tea i
n the coffee urn. There were so many people in town. Traffic was a mess, but it was fun and the parade was great.
I took a few photos and thought movies might be better, not sure that was a good idea. I left the local sound on the movie, Gene said it was driving him crazy so you may not enjoy 5 minutes of parade noise. :) Here are a few photos as well.
Margo, a blogger friend, came out from Austin. It is fun to meet internet friends. Other folks came by, too, that we hadn't seen for a while. It was fun. If we didn't see you last night, hope to see you next time.

Looks like a fun night. Kinda wish I'd gone out for the parade.
Joanna, it was a nice evening. Good weather, too. We had a good crowd, but not shoppers. :)
