I finally got some sketching done yesterday and this morning. I sketched with just a regular ball point pen, Pilot, in my large sketchbook. All sketches are freehand and done as quickly as possible. I like to sketch with ink so that I am not tempted to erase. For you new folks you can click on sketches down at the bottom of my posts. I have been sketching in the Scavenger Hunts almost since the beginning. These sketches are for Hunt #190. Wow, lots of sketches.
Number 1, wall decoration - a wooden and wire wall hanging. Number 2, door decoration - a couple of horse shoes over the front door. Number 3, treat food - a little chocolate (you know me).
Number 4, seat - Gene's bicycle seat. Number 5 and 6, handmade - by me, the painting, by someone else, the pot. Number 7, holds stuff - a nylon net grocery bag from Bolivia, so old and used umpteen times for many different things.
Number 8, typical breakfast - my coffee and a rice cake with peanut butter, cream cheese and raisins. I have sketched this cup many times. I have brought it to New Mexico for a few years, a gift from Jennie.
We went to Santa Fe yesterday to get some new tires on the Explorer. We planned on eating at Maria's, but they didn't open for dinner until 5 p.m. so we ate dinner in Taos at El Taoseño. Not as good, just average New Mexican food. I'll share a few photos. I have posted many along this route. You can click on the slide show on my sidebar to the right to get to my Picasa and many photos from New Mexico.

Jo - I'm so impressed with your Texas cup - you nailed the elusive ellipse!! Good job. And the rice cake too. I was hoping it was a cinnamon roll. Now I'm hungry.
Thanks, Regina. I have sketched that cup so many times! I wish it was a cinnamon roll, too. Ha. The cakes are for crunch not taste so I have to puts lots of junk on them. :)
(first time to sign in today and my word verification is preonce. Does that mean I have done it before. Heh, heh.)
What with me being so far behind, Regina beat me to the ellipse comment! Nice job, Mom.
Joanna, thank you so much.
