Bag Blog's Painting
One of the reasons I finally posted (see previous post) was that we stopped for dinner in Red River at Texas Red's Steakhouse again with our friend, Gen. Lou (Bag Blog) had mentioned to me on my blog that she had a painting there. This visit, Gene reminded me to look for it. It is great and fits in the decor quite well. So here I am with Lou's painting.
By the way, the Texas Red's Steakhouse is in the Lodge at Red River. The steaks there are as great as they look in the photos. The decor is old west with peanut shells on the floor. The menus are "newspapers" and the menus contain the story of the restaurant and the lodge.

Hey, I know those people. I'm glad you enjoy TR's. I wish you could have seen the old building. There was some great paintings and a lot of memories lost in that fire.

Lou's painting looks great! And the restaurant sounds wonderful. When we make it back to TX let's meet for dinner there!
Hi Teresa, I would love for you to get to Texas to visit. We are still in New Mexico and the restaurant is in Red River. I hope to meet you one of these days!
