I sketched a little this morning, well about noon. We all stayed up late watching the Texas/Texas A & M football game. Texas won! Go Horns! It was an exciting game.
I sketched in my 6 x 8 inch sketchbook with the Micron 05 pen for
Scavenger Hunt 155. 15 minutes or so each.

Number 10, seasonal, (leafless trees).

Number 11, dirty dishes. plate and fork. About 15 minutes.

Number 12, clean dishes, plates and glasses. About 10 minutes.

Number 13, apple, apples in plastic bag. 10-15 minutes.
I forgot to mention at the airport in Austin, they have art exhibits in the waiting areas. Different groups exhibit there. I saw this one and realized a couple of the paintings were by
Britta Herzog, a friend from the
Austin Pastel Society.

A snapshot of the whole display. Off to the side so the flash wouldn't glare.

These two are Britta's, nice work.

That is pretty cool to find your friends work on display - and very nice work at that.
Bag Blog, yes, it was a surprise. I never expect to recognize any artists. :) Shame on me.
Really good sketches, Jo, lots of detail and well-organized. They'd make fun little paintings in color, too!
Isn't that too cool when you recognize somebody or something out of the ordinary?
Susan, hi there. Thank you. I rarely do more than this with the sketches. Thanks for the idea.
Fantastyk, It was fun. Thanks for stopping in from NM. :)
Hey! The airport art reminds me of the time I saw one of your Bastrop buddies' art at the Austin airport. I can't remember whose are it was, though. Do you?
Hi Joanna, It is fun to "discover" someone. :) It must have been Lester Sensat or Mike Henderson??
