Home Again .. Photos from the Road

We made it back to Bastrop yesterday afternoon. It is good to be home, but what a mess to straighten out. Maybe, as Gene says, we should get rid of everything and start over. We have too much "stuff".

Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Sandia Mountains

Here is a link to our road photos. I have taken photos on this trip sooooo many times that it is hard to find new interesting things. Maybe they will be new to you. I hope you enjoy them. You can click on Jo Castillo's Gallery here or above the album and see other photos I have posted on Picasa if you missed them earlier. I hope to get more balloon photos up soon. Unpacking takes priority I suppose.

I bet it's almost like Christmas finding all the things you haven't seen for months. Don't envy you the unpacking. Love seeing the balloons and your daughter.

That's where you are! :) I'm glad you're home safe.

Jeanne, hello! The problem is we took most of our stuff with us, didn't use it and have packed and unpacked it 3 or 4 times. Ha. Nice to be back home.

Hi wabbitt, Nice to see you. We are glad to be back. Hope to get some sketches done soon.

Welcome home Jo and Gene. I have enjoyed following your travels and wonder where you both get all the adrenalin filled energy from.

Roger, thank you! We enjoy the traveling and having the "kids" (adults now) come to go to the balloons with us kept us going. We might not have gone to the Balloon Fiesta again this year if the girls weren't there. Getting up at 4 a.m. is not our usual travel mode!

Sorry for chiming in so late. Welcome home. And, yes...seeing the balloons was great fun. I figured out that the last time I went to the Balloon Fiesta was in 1997.

Hi Joanna, Well, I'm glad you came to the balloons this year. It was great! Thanks for the comment. Hugs.
