Hunting in the Fridge

Scavenger Hunt 146 is going strong. I managed to get three more ink sketches in my regular sketchbook with a Micron 05 pen. I like sketching with a pen. I have to think first and can't really change my mind. This is good for training to see and put down a good line. It works except when I am lazy or don't like the sketch to start with. The Scavenger Hunts have been good for me. I get ideas for items I normally wouldn't sketch and keeps me from always sketching landscapes. In a landscape sketch, I don't have to be exactly right, but in an everyday item, I have to be accurate enough for the item to be recognized. Sketching is good practice.

Number 4, flower - a small crepe myrtle in the front yard with redish flowers. Number 5, something old in the fridge - an almost finished bag of tortilla chips. Number 6, something new in fridge - unopened olives.
