Sketching for Two

I sketched in Albuquerque on Tuesday Morning for Scavenger Hunt 141. This evening I sketched here in Angel Fire for the Hunt and also for the Art House Project.

For the Hunt, Number 5 ground cover, gravel and some plants at the grocery store while Gene shopped. Number 6, cassettes, the cassettes in the TV cabinet here. Both were with Micron 05 pens, different color ink, in the 7 x 10 inch sketchbook, half page.

I saw this photo of Larry and decided to sketch from the photo. It is with a Micron 05 pen in the Art House sketchbook. I like the sketch, but I think his head is a little small. Not bad for a freehand sketch. Good practice for figures.

For the Art House Sketchbook Project, the third one for the theme, Thinking of You.

These look great, Jo - I especially like the one of Larry. I thought I had seen this photo before. Really good!

Thank you, Regina. I hope to do more figures.

Ah.... still productively sketching I see! Good for you! Sure have missed you and your lively sketches and colorful paintings. I finally got out of the blueberry bushes, AND got my extended reach internet (though it took a week longer than expected due to me being in the sticks and having to run new cables or whatever!) so that hopefully I can stay more current on my blog reading. Awfully hard to keep up with lots of blogs in dial up! Feels SO good to see a page load in a decent amount of time. Woo Hoo! I'm a little closer to being up with the rest of you now! :-)
