Evidently I am not getting any painting or sketching posted today, so I am going to share an informative link with you. You should also look at Paula Ford's work. She is an amazing pastelist. I started checking her work on wetcanvas.com where she has posted many works in progress. I studied her landscapes for hints about painting trees last year.
If you are concerned about breathing in pastel dust, this mask may be the answer.

Hi Paula, I don't know a thing about the mask except what you said, but the part about you being a good artist and sharing with others on wetcanvas is so true. Thanks for your help and advice. :)
