Scavenger Hunt 126 has several items that are open to each artist's interpretation. You will find the list for this nine day Hunt and the rules on the link.
I remind you that I sketch mostly with ink pens, freehand. This is to push myself to "look and see" well and put down sure strokes quickly. It works for me. These two sketches have perspective and long lines, a personal test .. of sorts. These sketches are in the 7 x 10 inch sketchbook with a Micron 05 pen, half page and full page, 15 - 20 minutes each.
Number 6, thick and thin. I thought of sketching myself, before and after, but I only have "thick" to sketch from life. I chose a couple of books that were on the coffee table.
Number 7, two of something. The controls for the TV and VCR.
Scroll down for post earlier today.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

- I Grew up in a small town , Magdalena, New Mexico. I enjoy art and the pleasure other people get from my work. I always donate some of my sales and art to charities, especially for children. That started in Bolivia with Para los NiƱos. "I cannot pretend to feel impartial about colors. I rejoice with the brilliant ones and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns." -- Winston Churchill

I think you're well on your way to becoming a technical drafter / illustrator!! Good job on both of these, Jo.
Ah, Regina. You made me laugh. You know how much patience I have for making straight lines! I did feel pretty good about these two controls. :)
Jo: Very nice work on the books. From your other remote, I think you have Time Warner as your cable supplier.
fishing guy, you are right on! :) Thanks.
"I only have 'thick' to sketch from life." Ha! 'Made me laugh. :)
Joanna, True, true. We are supposed to sketch from life ..... not memory, sadly.
Nice sketches! Your comment on the subject for thick and thin sounded just like something Jeanne would say!
BTW - You might be interested to know that, inspired by yours and Jeanne's examples of dedicated sketching, I bought a Moley and have been sketching .... well.... somewhat regularly! :-)
Teresa, thank you. :) I agree with you about Jeanne. I'm happy you are sketching. My friend, Sue, in Michigan is the one that pushes me. She has a habit, sketches everywhere. She always has a new sketchbook for me when we get together. So I have several to fill .. I hadn't finished any until I started the Hunts. Now I have finished three. I have several others that have a few here and there, from the old days. Ha.
