I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

I've never seen an electric fly swatter. We did have a bug zapper in the back yard once but the Golden retriever was scared and wouldn't go outside to potty. Had to get rid of it.
Jeanne, the flyswatter is OK. You don't "swat" but you turn it on, the batteries are connected to the screen, hover it over the bug/fly or sweep toward it and zap! I'm a little afraid of it. Ha.
The sketches are great. I so admire your discipline with these drawings. I keep telling myself I will participate, but just don't seem to make the time. Maybe this time. You are an inspiration.
Hi Miki, thanks. I find that the Hunts help, mainly to make me sketch out of my comfort zone. I tend to sketch landscapes, which don't have to be exact and makes me lazy about really "looking" at things. I do think it helps when painting as "looking" has become more of a habit.
