I finished wrapping presents and packing so sketched while watching TV. These are for Scavenger Hunt 112 with Micron 005 pens, about 25 minutes. The color is all pens with the exception of the yellow, colored pencil.
Number 7 something cold and Number 8 something warm. My usual bad drawing of a good white wine and café con leche, coffee with milk. You would think that as many wine glasses as I have sketched they would get better. Hmmmm. The top ellipse is OK, but it looks like it would tip over with that lopsided foot/base.
Will be posting from New Mexico. Scroll down for this mornings post about the tree.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Jo, would you mind coming to wrap for me? I was thinking I had it all done...but I haven't finished the wrapping yet...oh wait, food shopping, stamps for the cards...yikes!
Maybe the ellipse thing is just your style :D
Hi Jo- I'm loving the addition of color to your great sketches. And your tree is a marvel! So pretty.
Hi Rose, I would be delighted to come wrap for you. Somehow that seems easier, right? Every time I think I am done I remember something else. The other day I found a gift from about 4 years ago that I put away so I would know where it was. Hmmmm.
Hope you settle into your plan and finish right on the button!
Hi, Susan! Thanks. I look through a sketchbook and color always catches the eye and livens up the work.
Thanks on the trees. Memories are always special, right? Hugs and best of the Christmas season to you and all.
Hmmmmmmmmm! Now which one would I choose to drink? Cute sketches. Hope you made it safely to NM with the strange weather across the country. Stay safe and enjoy!
Thanks, Joan, We can share both. The trip was different but all arrived in fine shape. Hope you are OK in all that cold up there. Our low was just about 28 or so and clear, I think, looks like you are in for some bad weather up there. We will get up to 50 or so today. :)
