Art a la Rose

My Fine Art Friend, Rose Welty, is dedicated to learning .. learning to be an artist and the business side as well. She has started selling her artwork on line and is publishing a beautiful newsletter. You will be missing a chance to learn some art history, business sense, and general art techniques if you don't subscribe to her newsletter and follow her blog. She studies, researches and reviews .. breaking it down for us to follow along. You might enjoy owning one of her new acrylic ink paintings or a sketch or two.

This is a sample of one of her colored pencil pieces. You will find larger images and more information on Rose's sales blog. She has a bonus offer if you buy during December.

Stop Dreaming and Start Doing, one of Rose's articles, was published recently on Empty Easel. You will find a sample of her research and insights there.

Besides being an emerging artist and writer, Rose is a great person, very sharing with her blog readers. Stop by and visit with Rose.

Jo - I'm still laughing at your snow photos below!!! Too bad you missed the "big storm." I'll have to check out Rose's blog. Cheers!

Hi Joan, I think of you all up north in the cold. I guess you didn't have power outages from the ice storm. I'm sure all the Minnesotan plein air guys laughed, too. I read about them standing on heat pads and wearing electric socks to paint! Not my kind of fun! Brr.

Rose will amaze you.
