The Longhorns won the last game of the series with the Missouri Tigers. Whew! The score was 9-2. It was cold and gloomy in Columbia today. In the post game show, Coach Garrido said that one good thing was that the Tigers had to stay there and the Horns could return to beautiful Austin. :)
Kyle Russell had a three run homer in the first inning and a "monster moonshot", according to Craig Way, radio/internet announcer, in the fifth.
There were no errors and the Horns pitching was great. Official story here.
Next game, Wednesday against UT Arlington in Austin. Hook-em Horns!
