I just had a smile. Sort of a sympathetic smile. With my knee and the re-injuring of it on my mind, I wandered around reading some of my regular blogs. Anna Sellers, Anna Sellers Art and Thoughts, in Indiana has a bum knee and has been sitting down to paint. And, on her blog tonight she says she missed a stair and sprained her ankle. So she has upped her recuperating time as well. Then, Jeanne Grant in Bakersfield has a bum knee as well. Unfortunately, I think hers is the most serious, and I hope she recovers quickly The point is, I think there is something in the air. So watch out if you read my blog and are an artist, you might just catch this "illness" that seems to be going around.
Here are a couple of roses from the garden for these blogging buddies.....
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Jo, they are beautiful. Thank you.
My injuries are funny in that slapstick humor kind of way. I hurt my knee wrestling with my oldest son. When my knee went "POP!", I officially won the match. When you take out the injury part of me missing a step, it was a pretty funny ordeal as well.
I was reading Jeanne's blog and wow.. I hope she is going to be ok. I will wish her well over there as well.
Hey, if you've got to have a bum knee, might as well get roses...
hugs, to you, Jo.
Anna, Yes, the falls are funny .. in a weird way. My youngest, Jennie, always wants to know if we laughed!
Hope you are doing better. I am very much improved. You might check on Traumeel or another analgesic cream. It helps the swelling, bruising and pain. No smell or greasy feel. You get it at a health food or herb remedy store.
Jo
Leslie, thanks for the good wishes. It is sooooo much better.
Jo
I too found it funny that the 3 of us all had knee problems. Too bad it hurts. I am glad yours is getting better.
Jeanne, I sure hope yours will get better. Mine is temporary and I think Anna's is as well.
Hugs,
Jo
