After getting some advice from my local critics and Art and Artistry, I decided to rework the Texas Barn a little. I do think it is much improved. The flowers and barn are emphasized more as the center of interest and the lean to the left has been corrected. Let me know what you think. It is acrylic, 9 x 12 inches.
The soft pastel painting, On the Edge, is 8 x 10 inches on the new R-tis-tx pastel surface. It is a hard plastic/acrylic (?) rigid board with sanded surface. Very lightweight and holds the pastels very well. On sale at the moment as well! The photograph is dark at the top making it look a little top heavy, sorry. (I should have a new camera in a couple of days. Sweet, as Larry would say. I didn't take any photos of the work in progress, I just worked too fast for that! Ah well.

**Note (added Feb. 26) These two paintings will be at Daddy's Grille in March if you want to see them in person. There is a reception on March 17, and you are invited! More information here. The finished barn is here.
