Scavenger Hunt 27 Sketches

I forgot to put up my sketches from Tuesday for Scavenger Hunt #27 from wetcanvas.com. This hunt runs until February 5 and I will put up the next list and host. That means I need to comment on the sketches, but I usually do anyway. #1 is my mouse, #2, the telephone, # 3, mail and #4 fingernail attached to your finger. I would hate to have to draw one unattached! The mouse was done with a regular ball point pen and the others with the ZIG Millennium about 40 minutes total while watching a movie on TV. That takes another part of the brain and I loose track of both .. the movie and the sketch. Oh well, practice is the name of the game. I like the mail the best.

I also worked on publicity for my show. It is on my web page now. The deadline for my ad and story for the Heart of the Pines Magazine is tomorrow, so I was doing that as well. I may be the cover artist for March. That would be swell! There is a larger photo of the Salsa Stuff painting there, also.

Jo, I've had a poke around your blog and site - you do great work. You are also very open about your process and a great help to people like myself. Thanks!

Thanks for your comments on my blog, you are very encouraging. It is great fun! I'm so glad I started blogging. Are you thinking of joining in on February's artist? In any event, it is great to find another blogger in TX. I'll be keeping up with your blog.

Hi Rose, I doubt I will do the February artist. I'm a lazy artist and let y'all do my homework. :) You did well with JSS.

There is a link to Susan Carlin in San Antonio at the bottom of my blog in the links. A good Texas artist and blogger.

Thanks for the friendly words. Let me know if you get near Bastrop.

Jo
