I have to post again. I just discovered Kristopher Battles, directed to the blog by a friend of his on wetcanvas.com Battles says in his profile,"I am one of three combat artists currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps."
Very impressive sketches and drawings. I have a hard enough time sketching in a calm situation with no distractions. Wow.
I had read about artists during the Civil War and such, but didn't know they still existed.
Again, thanks to all our military for keeping us out of harms way and hope they can do the same. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.
