We are on the road in New Mexico. We delivered the three paintings to Peppers Gallery. I am bringing home the pastel, Waiting for Rain on the Flats. I plan to enter it in the Austin Pastel Society Corridor Juried show. Wish me luck. If it is juried in, it will hang at the Corridor of Art at the Chase Bank in downtown Austin for March and April and be eligible for nice pastel prizes.
My posting is on dial-up so no extra goodies today. I did get two sketches done for the Scavenger Hunt.
#1 - Wall clock, at my Mother-in-law's. It is made of plastics, turquois and pink and white. The cabinets are white and it was dark for the window, so nothing outside. :) 5-10 minutes with the Micron05 in my Canson sketchbook.
#2 - Tea Pot, here as well, it is black with peachy flowers and rattan looking handle. About 10 minutes.
