Land, Flower and Human Sketches

Another beautiful day.  Wow, love this time of year.  Jennie and I walked around the almost dry lakes/ponds.  I went around once, haven't done that in ages.  Nice break from the porch.  Jennie went around 3 times so I sketched and waited for her on the last bench on the west side.

Number 7 landscape - small tree and dry lake bed.

Number 8 flower - weeds probably, pale green with whitish tops.  

Number 9 human - Jennie with a crick in her neck.  Heh, heh.  In her Denver Broncos t-shirt.

These are in a new small sketchbook. 3.5 by 5.5 inches.   Watercolor Book CLWBO which seems to have good watercolor paper.  I just used a Sharpie.  The book doesn't say on it where it is from so I'm guessing China. Sigh......

 

Our morning walking companions.  We were closer at a couple of points, they sort of stuck with us.  When we were closer they were in the shade.
