Enterprise or spaceship was on the list for the new Hunt. I thought the rent-a-car place in Bastrop was more handy than going to Houston for a spaceship. The sign is green and black. The small sign says, "Hair of the Dog", so maybe they share with a dog grooming operation??? I didn't go in to find out.
Number 1, enterprise - rent-a-car in Bastrop. In the Conda Sketchpad with a Micron 03.
Sketched after PT in Bastrop. The sedan doesn't look much like a small car, but it was a black one. Not sure if it was a rental or customer. I didn't look that closely. There seemed to be quite a few cars in the back along with another butane business. I got a heavy look/stare from a person at that place when we turned around there. I'm smiling.
It made me think of sketching and painting plein air with Sue, painting buddy. She was always wanting to get closer or go through a gate that said "private property". "They won't mind if we are sketching," she would say. Right!!
We have painted together since 1994. I think last summer was one of the very few we missed. A few of the outings painting with Sue:

I thought of the Enterprise rental too, since they seem to be our "go to" if we need a rental car. I used to take my mom on rides with me up in Maine and she always wanted to go down private roads or onto private property...and the she somehow got into conversations with the owners too. Next thing I know we're being invited up on someone's porch. lol
Joan, love your Mom and her ideas. I'm grinning now. We used to use Enterprise, too. I saw it the other day and remembered for the Hunt. I think the building was part of a little farm. Some old barns in the back. Thanks for the note!
You and Joan are so good about doing these -- good for both of you!
Helen, thank you so much. Joan does get out and about much more than I do these days. She inspires me.
Wow. Love it.
