Hunt 110 and 111 Sketches

Scavenger Hunt 110 hosted by Joan ended today and Hunt 111 started hosted by me.  I hadn't sketched with our busy week.  PT for Gene and we had two nieces visit on the weekend.  Marikay from New Mexico and Carolyn from Tennessee.  Woohoo, what fun with all the familly.  Lots of fun and hours of conversation about "old times".  Always good.

So, being the lazy me, I sketched on the porch this morning for both Hunts.  I sketched on a page in the BookFactory sketchbook.  The top half for Hunt 110 and the bottom for Hunt 111.  Both sketches with the Micron pens.

For Hunt 110 number 2, flowers - the same old geranium from the porch/patio.

For Hunt 111 number 1, patio - subbing the screened in porch for patio.

Our Longhorn baseball team is driving us crazy.  The scores run from winning against Cal-Poly 2 - 0 and loosing to a small UT Rio Grande Valley 9 - 17.  Many lopsided scores in between.  You can see the schedule and results here: https://texassports.com/sports/baseball/schedule  I guess we are just spoiled as the team has appeared in the College World series more times than any other school and has 6 wins there.  Not looking good right now for even going.  It is the last year in the Big 12 before going to the SEC and would be nice to go out on a big win, right?  But we have a new weekend series with TCU starting Friday night!  They still have a chance!  Hook 'em Horns!
