We met Joel several years ago in Magdalena, New Mexico, of all places.  The closest thing to an orchestra in Magdalena was our high school band.  Until Joel Becktell, cellist, showed up.  What a wonderful musician and friend!  Then in Austin at a Revel we met Carla McElheney, pianist, and discovered how much fun a classical music evening can be.


They put on a super show and are so generous and sharing.  It makes for a great evening.  Hope to see you on Saturday!  Did you notice there will be art there, too!  Can't get any better than that......
