This evening I decided to sketch for the Southwest and Western Art Forum January Challenge. The forum doesn't have too many posts and I really want it to succeed. The challenge this month is ranches, barns, and windmills. I sketched one of the images Kathryn Wilson put up for the challenge. I did one of my usual sketches in my sketchbook with a Micron 005 pen. My usual quick and freehand, so not too accurate.

fishing guy, thank you. I think you would recognize the original reference. All the errors show more in photos for some reason, right? I guess that is why we use photos to check our paintings before we finish them.
