Scarecrow Owl Wings

Loving our weather at the moment and we even had about 1.6 inches of rain yesterday.  The porch was a good place to sketch.

Number 7 has wings - Well sort of.  This is a plastic owl that Gene bought to scare the birds away from the window.  He put it to face the window so he could see it.  I told him the birds should see the face, otherwise it looks like a stump.  The head was supposed to bobble and turn around but it doesn't.  The birds come and sit on it.  Ha.

I guess it did face out at first, but you can see it was not a good scarecrow ever.  You can read my first post here:

I sketched it here and I guess the first one didn't have a bobble head.  The one I sketched yesterday, does have a moveable head but it doesn't move and it faces the window.  Sigh....

At least the owl is good as a model. lol Glad to hear you had some rain. Our other friends down there had some things blown down from the strong winds recently. It needs to just rain...nice and peacefully...stop and repeat a few times.

Joan, thanks. Funny owls. Yes, we need rain without the wind and hail. Lots of damage around. We aren't in a flood area luckily.
