Salty Jalapeños

A new Hunt with "salt" and "onion or other vegetable" on the list.  I never have onions here except fresh green onions if I'm doing Chinese or eating a sandwich and thinking of my dad.  He always had green onions in his garden.  We would listen to baseball games, eat sandwiches and dip them in salt and maybe the green chile fresh as well.  Yummy.

I decided I would like color but didn't want to do watercolor or pastels so got the iPad out.  I was almost finished with the sketch and somehow put a "layer" on and then deleted the whole thing as I never use layers in the App, Brushes.  Sigh.  Doing over is so boring so I lost some of my detail and inspiration.  I think it was much better on the first go.

For Scavenger Hunt 161 https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-161-may-27-june-7.7996/

Number 1 Salt and Number 2 veggie - some jalepeños.

The salt grinder is about 5 years old, Kirkland brand, says it is Mediterranean Sea Salt.  Hmmm.  Not sure why I have it.

We tried a new service today.  Valet service from Sames Ford here in Bastrop.  The car needed an oil change and general check up.  They picked it up and brought it back, no extra charge.  So nice for us not to have to go sit at the garage.

I like the salt shaker and the jalapeños! Sounds like you found a way to make oil changes less painful!

Joan, thanks. I thought it was too long to go sit there, usually about 3 hours with wait and drive. The car was gone just about 2.5 hours. So nice. I was going to have to get one of the "kids" to come out and do it. Gene gets too restless.

Too bad he can't sketch like we can. It does help to pass the time.
