The temp was about 70º on the porch this morning. Gosh it was super. Coffee and egg sandwiches and sketching. What could be better?
I sketched on the bottom of the page from yesterday. That is in the Canson Mixed Media large sketchbook with a Micron 03 and watercolor. I used the water brushes. I was thinking I've had those Ohuhu brushes for about 15+ years. They are still fine. Well, one tends to spread out after a few minutes but they have been very good.

It was interesting to me to see the two men, both in black and both with a little dog. Anyway fun to try to sketch. They didn't stop and I didn't think to get a quick photo so everything may be a bit off.
I scanned it first in black and white by mistake. I was pleased to see that my values are pretty good.

Good capture of both men and their dogs. Nice to see it in black & white too. Glad the weather was nice to sit out on the porch. It was damp and cold here today...rain expected tonight.
