Soft Moose Sketch

I thought I would do a quick sketch on the bottom of the page of the last sketch of the scissors and rock.  Soft was an item on the list.  Lazy me looked at the toys on the shelf and saw this soft little moose.  Soooo soft and so cute.  Where did it come from??  I'm sure Gene gave it to me, but where did he get it?  We haven't been to Utah since the big fire.  Must have been in one of the big boxes of toys at Walmart some holiday.  Doesn't seem that I've sketched it before.  I didn't find a blog post with "moose" in it or Utah.  I'm bewildered.....

Number 5 something soft - The moose is about a foot tall, rusty brown with black shirt and black horns.  His eyes and nostrils are barely visible.  I couldn't really see the eyes but put them half showing so his snout would show.

I cannot believe it is January.  It was 76º F this afternoon about 4 p.m.  Just now I heard the wind and went to look.  The cold front is rolling in.  It is already 39º.

Here is the Fox 7 Austin weather for the week:  https://www.fox7austin.com/weather

It was 89º just a few days ago.  I do not like winter.  I hope this is the end of it!  But if I know this crazy Texas weather it will be this cold again when the Longhorns start playing baseball in February!!  Dang.

I thought we had put away all the Christmas decorations.  We missed the Christmas train that the GGs painted a couple of years ago.  Sigh......

Jo your fuzzy moose looks very soft. Great job. I know you folks in Texas are getting quite a bit of cold weather...we are covered with snow and more is on the way. It would be quite lovely if one did not have to drive in the white stuff. Birds are really eating us out of home now that we have winter weather. Take care. Hugs!

Debbie, thank you. We are lucky to have mostly good weather. I just like to complain about the rapid changes. I do not envy you the snow. Stay safe and warm.
