Susan's Studio - Open One Year

Friday was a great day. Gene and I went to San Antonio to Susan Carlin's reception at her Studio. She has been there a year. Doesn't seem possible that it has been a year since we went there to help with the painting of the walls and ceiling. Wow, a year!

We met some dear friends in San Antonio for lunch, then went to the reception. Regina and her husband were there, too. It was a warm afternoon and a great party. Here are a few snapshots. I am terrible at taking photos lately but you may get the idea.

We surprised Susan ...

We had a little music.....

A little food......

A little camaraderie.....

Met the artists......
Bonnie Mann and Susan Carlin

and the others
Marilyn Moore
Kim Shields

Oh, and we bought this painting, , very cool, right?

We had a good day today as well. I painted and will post about that tomorrow.

Awwww. Jo! These are terrific shots. I haven't even put up the ones Karen took yet. I sure appreciate your sweet words and that you and Gene came all the way down to San Antonio for the party!

Thanks for introducing me to Susan last year. When we visited her in SA this winter, we had a great time. She is an excellent artist and a very friendly person.
