New Beginning

A new Hunt begins.  Always fun to see the new list and begin the search......

I got out my Lamy pen.  Hadn't used it for ages.  It is a real ink pen with refills and nib.  The ink in it had dried up and maybe the refill as well.  I washed it out and it worked for a bit.  I had to finish the writing and edge of the printer with my Pilot ball point pen.  Sigh.....

Number 1 lamp - the pole lamp here in studio.  Actually the bulb is the interesting part.  The three sections can be turned.  I have them shining on the ceiling.  It lights up my studio with few shadows that way.  Much like daylight.

Number 2 interesting shadow - the shadow under my shelf and wall with shadow from the printer.  There were two light sources.  Didn't have my "no shadows" light on.

Drawn with the Lamy pen until it gave out.  Shadow on the wall with watercolor.

And there you have it.

For the new Scavenger Hunt from Life 112  https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-112-apr-25-may-3.6807/

The weather is supposed to be stormy in the area for a few days.  Nothing here yet.  Larry is going to Dallas for a race.  Hope the weather holds out for that and the traveling.  The Longhorn baseball team will be in Norman, Oklahoma, to play the Sooners.  It will be hard for them to get in the three games I bet.  First one tonight at 6:30 p.m.  We can watch on ESPN+  Hook 'em Horns!

I'm glad you found an interesting shadow to sketch. Nice!! Hope the weather doesn't interfere with David's race.

Joan, thanks. Haven't heard about bad weather in our area yet. Lots in the midwest, eh?? Fingers crossed.
