My watercolor palette is always a mess. Maybe that is why my watercolors are used mainly for sketching. I sketched while Gene was in PT.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Palette in Watercolor
For Scavenger Hunt from Life 188, Number 1 - used in my art, watercolor palette
I sketched in the Ohuhu Mix Media sketchbook a full page 10 x 7.6 inches with an Ohuhu .5 pen and watercolors.
The baseball game tonight was interesting. The Horns played the Alabama Crimson Tide in Austin at the Disch. The Longhorns used a different lineup tonight and it seemed to spark them. They lost the series last weekend in College Station against the Texas Aggies. Bummer. Tonight was fun, they won 10 -2 with 4 errors. Yikes! They haven't played Alabama many times over the years. I captured this screen shot from ESPN+ SEC network.

I'm glad you found some time for creativity. I like your palette. Are they supposed to be neat? lol Mine is usually a mess too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. It is OK to be a little messy, but I never mix enough color and then can't match it again. My friend Pomona always said to mix a big mixture and use fresh paint. Sigh....
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Yay for the Longhorns
ReplyDeleteR's Rue, thank you. Hope you have a "winning" day, too.
