Red Sketch

I bet you would expect some apples for my red item.  Apples are always my fall back subject.  Ketchup was on the last Hunt and I wanted to try it with markers but never got it done.  So, I put "red" on this list so I could try my hand at sketching with the markers in the new Marker sketchbook.

Markers really don't blend so you need many colors if you are planning to be very realistic or atmospheric.  I still prefer Pastels for that.  These markers are fun for a quick splash of color.

    Jo - excellent job. Ketchup bottle never looked better. Those markers really make it jump off the page. Ah bluebonnets...have always wanted to see them blooming. Maybe someday. Hugs!

    Debbie, thanks. I find the markers difficult. Bluebonnets are a favorite. Not many around this part of Texas this year. Too dry I guess. We had a few pop in the yard.
