Gene had PT today so I was going to sketch in a sketchbook. I had my bag, but had taken my sketchbooks out to post some of the last sketches. I did have watercolors and pens, etc. So... I sketched on my iPhone. I put in about 20 minutes on the sketch. I thought Gene might finish early as his knee was a little sore.
Number 2 Ironwork - the trash bins/baskets are very heavy duty iron painted green in the outdoor mall. My background isn't accurate as I didn't feel like putting in the buildings across the street. Ross and Best Buy and other stores to my left. AT & T behind me. Hobby Lobby, Specs, Academy, Lowes and more across the street. We will soon have a Longhorn Steakhouse and a Texas Roadhouse. We got a Chipotle, a new Oriental place and a BBQ place there. Sprouts grocery is coming. I have never been in one of those. Sounds interesting. Bastrop is growing too fast.
It was summer today. I think the high was 84 or 86 degrees F. A record for the day. I did not mind at all. I do not appreciate cold weather.
