Bonnet Come of Age Pastel Sketch

What is better than to play in the pastel dust?  I spent a quick half hour or so to start my day.  I wiped off the last sketch I did which left a nice purple-ish background for this sketch.

Number 1 for the new Hunt by Fletch - Easter Bonnet

This is an old bonnet of mine.  I wore it for Easter when I was about 10 years old so it is 80+ years old now.  Yikes!  I guess my mom saved it and my sis sent it to me a few years ago.  In the old days we would get a new outfit and shoes for the start of school and then for Easter.  

I sketched it for the Hunts in 2019 in ink.

    I'm behind viewing your blog. I just love the bonnet. We always dressed up for Easter with bonnets and new clothes. I had a bonnet that I loved that my brother, Joe, liked to wear when we were little. He was just a year younger than me.
