We have a couple of birthdays this week. I decided to use the Hunt sketches for the cards and use for my "homework". I sketched freehand on the cards.

Number 2, spicy - some salsa from El Arroyo in Austin. The restaurant puts up a funny sign on their billboard everyday. The one on this salsa says,
"Salsa:
Food or
Beverage
You Decide"
You can search for El Arroyo signs and see some of the others. I have mentioned them before.
Number 3, mug - with the challenge of holding an item in my hand. This cup was a gift from our Kentucky grandkids. Both sketches with Micron 03 pens.
Larry came by yesterday and we finally put the Christmas decorations up in the attic. Gene and I just can't do that on our own anymore. Maybe they will just stay there! No little kids to decorate for.
The Longhorns lost all three games at the tournament in Houston. Argh..... They lost to LSU, Vanderbuilt and Texas State. Texas State is Larry's alma mater and The University of Texas (Longhorns) is Joanna's alma mater. Brandon likes LSU so there you are, a family affair weekend. Someone was happy in two of the losses. The Horns play the Aggies in Austin on Tuesday. Hope they can recover.
The Horns started off that way last year. The tournament they went to was in Dallas and they lost all three games, then ended up at the College World Series. Hope it works again this year!
