We had an animal Valentine's morning! I got a talking doggie and Gene got a bear with candy. New stuff for me to sketch! Always fun. Gotta love my Valentine!
Yesterday was gorgeous so I walked when Gene rode his trike. I went to the first westerly bench and sketched in the Ohuhu sketchbook with a Micron 03 and watercolors with the waterbrushes.

Watercolors are more friendly to me when I sketch with ink first. That is OK, I like seeing them together.
Happy Valentine's Day!! I like your gifts to each other. I have flowers from Jerry and he wanted to get me candy, but I said no. I always give up chocolate for Lent and today was Ash Wednesday. I couldn't have candy and then not be able to eat it. lol

Joan, Nice. I haven't given up anything for lent since I was a kid. Good for you. We bought candy to take to the doctor's office today and forgot to take it. Guess we will have to eat it, we won't be back for 4 months. Ha. Thank you on my watercolor effort.
