I was searching for something different to sketch and looked up and there were a bunch of folks out in the field yakking and picking the blackberries. I was interested in sketching more people so went to work in the ArtStreet sketchbook with a Micron 03. I forgot to take a photo. I didn't sketch all of them. They seemed to meet there and happened to be friends so stayed for a bit.

Number 7 moves - the folks picking berries. As I finished I would have liked to add watercolor for practice, but the paper is for sketching not water. A little coloring with pencils seemed to finish it off.
Today is Cinco de Mayo, May 5. Gene's brother, Roger, used to always send us a photo of mayonnaise in a sink to say Happy Cinco de Mayo. I did a quick sketch in the corner to remember Roger. He always made us smile and continues to do so in our memories.
