Gloomy Morning Pastel

"It was a dark and stormy night ......." well, actually it is a cool and gloomy morning.  Tree was on our Hunt list.  I looked out my studio window at the trees.  They are pretty dark at the moment.  Pastels would portray the feeling.

    Nicely done! I hope the gloomy darkness has passed. I chuckled at your description as pastels on wiped off paper. lol

    Joanna, thank you. The sketch is gloomier in real life. The camera and monitor make it lighter. It would need a light on it if it was hanging in regular room light.

    I did a pastel of a tree the other day. Today I was finishing it up and thinking that I should take a photo and send it to you for critique. But I haven't done it yet. sigh. I like your tree. My tree was fall-ish. You know how I hate painting with all greens.
